Bay Tree Class: Welcome back!

This week, Bay Tree class have been learning about The Very Hungry Caterpillar as part of our Literacy topic. We have made an enormous caterpillar using bright paint colours to stamp and added fingerprint feet.

We have used a number of different materials to create some textured leaves for our school Inspiration Day.  Leaves from our outdoor space, tissue paper, crayons, as well as paint stamps have been used to create a beautiful display for our school community to see. 

In our Attention Autism, we have been learning in creative ways about different shapes. Balloons have been "pop, pop, popping" with "big" and "little" objects falling out.  We have been exploring shapes and how they look, feeling their sides, corners and edges, counting as we go.
