This week in Pine Tree class we have been familiarising ourselves with the class routines, expectations and engaging in learning activities incorporating this half terms creative curriculum theme ‘New Directions’, along with this half terms subject learning topics. We took part in activities throughout the week involving getting to know our friends in class, the staff in class this year and familiarising ourselves with our classroom environment. On Friday as part of the creative curriculum ‘inspiration day’ we are going into the school hall and engaging in multi-sensory learning opportunities including food tasting, art exploration, role play, music, amongst much more! We could not have asked for better weather this first week back and all enjoyed opportunities to get out and enjoy the fantastic sunny weather and of course the chance to have an ice lolly treat. Let’s hope this lovely weather continues throughout the weekend!
