Pine Tree Class: Welcome back!

Welcome back everyone!

It's been great to see all the students again after half-term, we hope you all had a refreshing week off. 

Our topic for this week is Computing, where we are focusing on data, for example; figuring where it is stored, where we can find it etc. We have been using different types of technology such as iPads, computers, laptops and the interactive whiteboard. In Numeracy this week, our lesson focus is Number and some students are beginning to look at multiplication and division. In Literacy, our lesson focus is Speaking and Listening and we have been recounting our weekend news, we have been looking at conversational skills and engaging in conversation with each other. It would be a great help if parents and guardians could send in any emails, photos, or write in the home/school communication books about what you did at the weekend, it really helps to support the student's learning. 

This half term, our Inspiration Day theme is Nature. Pine Tree Class have taken a trip into the local community this week to venture to the local green spaces to create some art. The students have been really creative and created some beautiful pieces. On Friday, all the artwork created by each class is going to be displayed to represent an immersive art gallery so we can all see what great work everyone has done.
