This week in Pine Tree class we have started to incorporate this half terms creative curriculum theme of ‘Festivals’ within our learning, through our Literacy text (a non-chronological report about Festivals). We have also included plenty of opportunities to explore various healthy foods as part of ‘healthy eating week’ within our learning. As part of our DT topic on ‘Food Technology - Eggs’ we have enjoyed opportunities to make scrambled eggs, boiled eggs and decorated these and concluded our learning through making and decorating cakes to enter into the school inspiration day ‘Pear Tree Bake Off’ event! What an enjoyable week of learning incorporating the half terms creative curriculum theme ‘Festivals’, healthy eating week and showcasing our baking contributions at the Pear Tree Bake Off!
