A busy half-term for Sixth Form!

Welcome back everybody - we hope you feel rested after a week off. 

We have dived straight back in to our hard work at Sixth Form. Some of the lessons we will be involved in include, 

• Performing Arts, where we have jumped straight back into performing Macbeth and we have begun to create some resources for our whole school performance such as creating backdrops and different items. We have been practicing hard and some of us have been learning our lines.
• Horticulture, we will continue our topic in Floristry and next week we are taking a trip to Lytham Hall.
• In Community Action, we are carrying on with our visits to the Recycling Hub in Preston and to the Community Centre.
• For Catering this half term, some of us have been taking an exciting trip to college where we are taking part in a Catering session led by the college. This week we made flapjack and we all loved this new experience. 
• Finally, in Science, we are furthering our knowledge of chemical reactions and extending our vocabulary, using it in context. 

We are looking forward to seeing continued hard work and dedication from our students - we are proud of you all!
