Teaching Assistant 2B
Summary
Under the general supervision and direction of the teacher, to plan and implement learning activities for individuals and groups. To monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher and establish supportive and constructive relationships with pupils, parents and carers. To assist in the specific medical/care needs of pupils when specific training has been undertaken, this may include complex medical needs.

Teaching Assistant Level 1
Summary
Under direction, to support the classroom teacher, mainly concerned with the physical needs of pupils and also the preparation of resources, basic record keeping and classroom organisation. This role will involve limited supervision of directed set tasks.
The role will involve offering support for pupils in relation to welfare, hygiene, personal care, feeding and mobility. Also assisting in the development of independent social skills and the correct use of specialist aids and equipment. Training will be given to assist in the specific medical/care needs of pupils.
