We have had a fantastic week in the Compass Centre!
As well as focusing on our timetabled sensory and functional sessions within the Compass Centre, such as sensory massage; sensory communication; aerobics; and Enterprise, some of our learners have also had the opportunity to engage in out of school activities.
Some of our students have began to take part in a weekly lesson, lead by AFC Fylde. They have worked collaboratively alongside their Sixth Form peers to actively participate in each task they are assigned. Everyone has thoroughly enjoyed engaging in different games such as hockey, football and rugby, and have enhanced their skills in precision and communication. Well done everyone!
Another new and exciting trip that has been recently introduced to our learners is access to the Creative Space Centre. The Space Centre is a multi-sensory environment that aims to provide a place where those with learning, physical or emotional difficulties may more easily access skills and enjoy differing experiences. Included within the sensory environments that Space provide are the latest lighting, sound and projection equipment, which our learners have interacted with very well!
We hope you all have an amazing half term week and we look forward to welcoming you all back on Monday 20th February :)
