Oak Tree Class: Banksy and Construction

What a fantastic week we have had in Oak Tree!

In Art, we have been learning all about Banksy this half term and have been focusing on the different colours he uses. We have identified that he primarily uses dark colours with a pop of colour. As a class, we identified some of the different pieces of art that we liked and had a go at colouring them in using the correct colours.

This half term in Vocational Education, we are learning all about the world of construction. We have been developing our communication skills to give each other instructions to be able build a tower using the correct colour of bricks. The pupils have also started to look at the structure of a tower and make their towers stronger by using different shapes and using the stacking method.
