Compass Centre blog of the week: fireworks and space

Happy Tuesday everyone, 

We hope you are having a great week!

This week in the Compass Centre, we have been looking at the themes 'fireworks' and 'space'. During Attention Austism, our learners have been thoroughly engaged in toasting their own Marshmallows over a fire and eating them (if they wished), in addition to creating their own sparkly fireworks with glue and glitter 😊

During active literacy, we have been reading a book all about space. Our learners have enjoyed listening to and singing along to an interative song about different planets and their properties, as well as experiencing sensory lighting, by watching the stars in the sky with a telescope. Good job everyone 😁
