Compass Centre blog of the week: MADD week fun 🤩

 Hello everyone, 

We hope you are having a wonderful week so far 😊

This week in the Compass Centre, we have been celebrating M.A.D.D week, which stands for: music, art, dance and drama! 

So far this week we have enjoyed participating in music, dance and art related activities and have had lots of fun. During our nurture session this week, our learners enjoyed designing and gluing and sticking on different materials to a variety of flags that represent different countries of the world. As part of dance, we got our bodies moving in a Zumba session, and all took it in turns to choose our favourite songs and show off our best moves 🕺 

Linking to music, all our learners engaged well during a music session with teacher Anna, who brought in lots of musical instruments to experiment with. We had lots of fun playing and engaging to the sounds of the guitar, the triangle, drums, xylophone and many more different instruments to different songs. In another sessions, our learners created their own shakers with different materials to make different sounds: take a look at the pictures below 🎵
