Compass Centre blog: welcome back!

Happy first week back everyone!

We hope you are having a great week and had an amazing summer holidays ?

We have been super busy in the Compass Centre this week! Some new faces have joined us this September and we have all been making them feel very welcome. The sessions taken place this week have been aimed at enhancing skills such as working together, sharing, team work and communication, which have helped everyone become more familiar with each other.

Our sessions this week have included attention autism, where we made sandcastles and ice creams and took it in turns to ‘splat’ the sand and shaving foam. All our learners also enjoyed participating within the nurture group, which had various games and competitive activities. As well as active maths, literacy, bounce, heavy work, physical education and many more fun opportunities.

Well done everyone, a positive first week back was had by all ?
