Hi everybody!

Welcome back to the Elm Tree Class blog.  This week we have been working with pupils from Maple Tree Class to take part in some Chinese New Year activities.  We each took turns as dragons and moved around the hall to the dragon dance music.  We also used chopsticks to try and pick up noodles and rice, it was very tricky!

The pupils taking part in the Young Voices concert next week also gave us a rendition of some of the songs they will be singing.  The choir sounded amazing and I’m sure the gig will be fantastic too.

In class during the Makaton lessons, we have been asking each other questions to find out information.  Pupils have been using the Makaton signs to ask what month their friends were born in, what they like and don’t like.
