Hi everyone and welcome back to the Elm Tree Class Blog

It's been a really busy penultimate week of term.  First of all, a big thank you to the parents that came to the open afternoon, it was lovely to see you and we hope you enjoyed painting the Kandinsky concentric circles pictures.  They turned out fantastically and they are going to make a gorgeous display.

We are now writing and illustrating our own versions of the night dragon and the stories the pupils have created are looking amazing.  Hopefully you will enjoy reading them when they get sent home at the end of the half term.

In PSD we have been drawing pictures of the familiy members and pets that live at our houses as part of the families topic.  It's lovely to see the pupils talking about brothers, sisters and pets (especially the pet names).

In computing we have talked about the different pieces of ICT in our hoes and we have sorted pictures by the rooms that they are in.  Some pupils have been using switches to play the theme songs from their favourite TV shows.  Hey Duggee, Bluey and Strictly were very popular.
