Elm Tree - World Book day

The children had lots fun on World Book Day on Thursday!

It was lovely to see lots of children in amazing costumes and everyone really enjoyed all the fun activities and the special World Book Day assembly.

In class we read The Zoo Vet and the children had lots of fun acting out as vets as we read through the lovely story. It also linked really well to our PSD sessions where we have been learning how to wash our hands and do basic first aid. The children were amazing at putting plasters on cuts and grazes and some even had a go at bandages.
