Oak Tree Class: Feeling the love!

We have had an extremely exciting week in Oak tree! 

First, we have been learning about how to stay safe online in the spirit of Safer Internet Day this week! Following on from our Computing topic this half term, we have been learning about how to keep our personal information safe, who our trusted adults are, and who we can tell if we are in danger online. We have even been writing the class blog together and learning about what we can and cannot share on the blog to keep us safe.

We have also been getting ready for Valentine’s Day this week! Following on from last week’s assembly all about love, we have been making heart shaped biscuits to give to those we love or for ourselves (because we need to love ourselves too!). Whilst making the biscuits, we discussed who we love in our life. We are looking forward to decorating them on Friday. This also helped us develop our Numeracy skills, as we had to double the recipe, and use the weighing scales to ensure we had the right amount of each ingredient. We had lots of fun doing this, even if we did get a bit messy in the process!
