Geography in Pine Tree class

Another busy week in Pine Tree class. We have introduced our Geography topic – United Kingdom and our focus has been Scotland. We have enjoyed tasting some traditional Scottish foods like salmon, Aberdeen Angus beef, porridge, oat bars and butter tablet. We have been learning about different places and landmarks in Scotland and explored the different colours, patterns and textures of Tartan clothes. Finally we watched some traditional Scottish dances and listened to a range of Scottish music and famous instruments associated with Scotland e.g. Bagpipes.

Have a fantastic half term. Hopefully we will continue to enjoy this lovely sunshine.
