ICT and Media in Oak Tree class

This half term in our vocational option, we have been learning all about ICT and media. We have been learning new skills such as how to use the camera on an iPad as well as using a handheld device. We have then been taking pictures of different things around the classroom as well as taking lots of selfies. Some of the pupils have had great fun taking pictures of themselves and then using different filters and effects to edit them. This has been really exciting!

Another group have been spending some time researching different autumn pictures. This has included landscapes, still life, weather and people. They have then chosen some of their favourite pictures and attempted to re-create these in school. We have had lots of fun throwing leaves in the air and taking pictures of them.
