Important people that help us- Doctors and Nurses
Date: 24th May 2024 @ 1:10pm
This week in Seedlings 1 we have continued to explore our theme 'People Who Help Us', this weeks important people have been Doctors and Nurses. We have had multiple themed stations set up to explore, these have consisted of:
- A tuff tray made up of stethascopes, thermometers, a sick doll, a foil blanket and much more!
- An X-Ray station where we where able to look at all different skeletons and what vthey looked like.
- A playdough station there the students had to make bandages and uniforms for sick patiants and doctors,
And a hand painting station where we could make our very own hand print skeletons.
In phase two of our 'Attention Autism' sessisions we have been exploring how we can look after people. For our activity we watched as coco powder was sprinkled on a doll to make her 'Muddy'. We then saw the doll getting a 'shower' with a watering can to get her all clean! In phase three which is ' Your Turn' the children where given the opportunity to sit under an umberella and listen as water was poured ontop of them. It is safe to say the staff got very wet!
We have enjoyed most of our time indoors whilst its been raining, we have particulaly enjoyed playing with duplo and have loved getting active in the afternoon with our movement sessions.
It really has been a fabulous time getting to and the children haveen amazing. We hope you have a lovley half term and we look forward to seeing you soon!
