This week in Seedlings we have been settling back in to school life after our lovely Christmas holiday.

 

This half terms theme is 'somewhere over the rainbow' and this week we've been focusing on the colour red.

 

For our continuous provision this week we have been exploring with red pasta, red rice, red berries and red vehicles, the children's favourite was playing with the rice.

 

For our focused activity the children enjoyed getting messy, where they had to mix paint and water together and pour it on a spinning device and watched the colours run into each other which looked like a far away galaxy. The children got really excited when it came to attention autism, as the lemonade fountain made a return.
