Achieving The Best We Can
In Everything We Do

Little Red Riding Hood

Date: 5th Jul 2024 @ 3:07pm

This week in Seedlings 1 we have been exploring our story "Litttle Red Riding Hood". We have had multiple exploration stations set up including, making grandma masks, forest themed tuff tray, red kinetic sand and a roleplay picnic station. The children have enjoyed exploring all the different stations. We have also enjoyed eating ice lolllies made by the Weeton Pupils so a massive thank you to you all!

In phase 2 of our Attention Autism sessions we have been making lemonade fountains. Craig put red food colouring in a bottle of lemonade and then added bicarbonate of soda to create an explosion. The children absolutly loved this and where so excited as the lemonade got higher. In phase 3 for " your turn" we let the children splash about in the lemonade and its safe to say the children enjoyed splashing about, some even enjoyed tasting it.

We havn't had much luck with the weather so we have been making most of the dry days and the sun. We hope you have a lovley weekend and we can't wait to see you all next week!
