Oak Tree Class Blog 05/05/23

Good afternoon everyone,

This week in Oak Tree Class, we held a mini celebration for the coronation of King Charles before the weekend.  We made scones and decorated flags and bunting, as you can imagine, the scones were delicious, especially with butter and jam!

We have been learning about money in numeracy this week.  We have explored coins and exchanged them for things we wanted to explore.  We have also been counting and naming coins and solving add and take away sums involving money.

We have been learning about personal hygiene and how to stay safe in PSD.  Some of us have been practising washing our hands and cleaning the tables in class to stay healthy.  Some of us have been learning about what to do when taking medicine.  We learned that it is important not to take medicine that isn't ours, and that an adult should give us medicine any time we need it.
