Oak Tree Class Blog 08/07/2022

This week in Oak Tree Class we have been continuing to read our story Last Stop on Market Street.  We have been exploring and sharing objects of reference from the story.  As well as reading and answering questions about what happens to CJ and his nana on the bus and using our phonics knowledge to identify initial letter sounds and spell words from the story. We have been learning about position and direction in numeracy by placing things in, on, under, in front, next to, in front and behind objects. In science we have been learning about our bodies as humans.  Some pupils have explored and made choices using UV reactive materials.  We have also been drawing pictures of parts of our skeleton and naming and placing the major organs of our body in the correct place.
