Oak Tree Class blog 14/07/2023

Hi everybody!

It's been a very busy week in Oak Tree Class, and everybody has been working really hard.

We have been using the signs we learned in out Makaton: Feeling Unwell topic to talk about what was wrong with the animals in the Zoo Vet story.  We have also been exploring objects of reference linked to feeling unwell.  The shaker for medicine, fluffy blanket for staying in bed and the mirror to see if we had spots were the favourite objects to explore.

We loved having time to play all the different musical instruments Anna our music teacher got out too.  It seems the noisier the instrument is, the more we want to play it.  Chris was sick of the gong at the end of the session!

Finally, a huge thank you to all the parents that came to our sports fesitval today.  It was brilliant to see you all joining in with the different activities, the relay race was definitely our favourite.
