Oak Tree!

Hello everyone and we hope you have had a great week!

In computing this week, we have been learning about information technology. This has involved us using a computer to type up our class blog. We have also been exploring using switches to be able to turn on and off different electrical devices including a disco light and bubble machine. The following part of the blog has been produced by pupils in Oak Tree Class.

This week in news we liked sharing all the lovely things that we had done at the weekend. We did some good talking and some good listening. We really liked having pictures sent in from home on the e-mails. We have really enjoyed looking at these and asking each other questions.

In science we have been learning about electricity. We have been reading a lovely story called Oscar and the Bird, which explains how electricity works with the use of a tractor. We are looking forward to exploring how electricity works for ourselves using switches, circuits and the interactive whiteboard.
