Seedlings Commotion in the ocean

This week in seedlings we have been exploring our theme of the week “Commotion in the Ocean”.

Our classroom provision has consisted of blue glitter trays with fish, blue sand with shells, shredded blue paper and sand, all to represent the sea and beach.

Our focus this week has been linked to our “understanding of the world” target where the children have been looking for things that have been moved out of sight. They have also been exploring with different textures that link to the sea.

Our Attention Autism has been a particularly messy one! We have been watching and listening as 5 fish swim around in the explosive ocean made of bicarbonate soda and blue lemonade.
