All Things English in Bay Tree!
We hope you all had a lovely Easter holiday and that you had a much deserved rest.
In Bay Tree class, we have had a really exciting first week back in school learning all about England in our new Geography topic.
To start our topic, we looked at a map of England and talked about where we live and any other places or areas that we know, such as Freckleton and Blackpool. Next, we imagined that we were going on a rocket ship around England and we landed in London. We then learnt about a range of things that we might see, hear and taste in London, such as Buckingham Palace, fish and chips and Big Ben!
We then finished our Geography topic by having our very own English tea party; where we listened to English musicians, coloured in paper plates, collaged English flags and decorated our classroom. I’m sure you can tell from our photographs that we all had a great time at our party!
