Buddhism

This week in Pine Tree class we have introduced our new Religious Education topic focusing on the religion of  Buddhism. We have enjoyed reading ‘The story of Buddha’, and how he taught people to lead good and happy lives through being truthful, respecting others and doing good things for other people. We have also explored some props relating to the story, and practised doing some Tai Chi.

In Literacy we have been learning about belonging – reading the story ‘We all belong’ and discussing how people are all different. We have made portraits of ourselves and our friends.
