Makaton

In Elm Tree, we love Fridays because that means it’s time for one of our favourite lessons: Makaton! We’re all very enthusiastic when it comes to showing off our signs. Recently we’ve been learning how to tell somebody if we feel unwell. We had a visit from our puppet friend, Sam who was a bit poorly. We worked hard to use our signs to communicate what was wrong with him, before applying our learning in conversations with adults and our friends. Well done everybody!
