People who help us

This week in Pine Tree class we have been focusing on our Citizenship topic and learning all about the people who help us. Throughout the week we have enjoyed lots of activities. We have looked at pictures and joined in a questions and answer power point to identify police officers, doctors, nurses, vets, dentists, teachers and people from the fire and ambulance service. Some students have been dressing up and doing role-play with their peers following adult verbal prompts. Another group have been for a walk around school looking at all the people who help us each day. We also know that we can ask our friends in class to help us which we found very helpful in our Commando Joe’s lesson, building towers with Jenga blocks and throwing and catching games.
